Weight Release
Catherine Poole, MI, DD
I have been an intuitive all my life and have quietly incorporated my skills into every aspect of my life. Helping others with weight release is my passion. The metaphysical approach is the ingredient long overlooked by the weight loss industry. I am dedicated to helping individuals to understand the true role of fat. Fat is just a messenger, and I help you interpret the messages your body is sending to you.
I have gained and lost on average 80 pounds four times in my life - three occasions after the birth of my children. I also experienced bulimia for five years during my college years. My highest weight is only an estimate at 245. Four years ago I weighed around 234 pounds - again an estimate - when you are that heavy you avoid the scale! I looked in the mirror and cried, "I cannot do this again! I do not want to do this again." I could and I did.
When you are at the bottom, how do you get up? First and foremost, you must begin with a gentle approach, because this journey is not about the weight you are releasing. It is a spiritual crisis long before it becomes a health crisis. It is about the life you are ready to live and the lessons you are learning (and some you are teaching). Change can be brought on by choice or by crisis. I like to present choice before it becomes crisis.
Understanding Your Own Messages
“Getting over a painful experience is much like crossing monkey bars. You have to let go at some point in order to move forward.” - Anonymous
Often, I tell my audiences that I am not here to teach; I am here to help you remember. Remember that we are all spiritual beings; we are on this earth learning about being human. Issues with weight are issues about self and relationships; they are lessons in being human, nothing else. Weight and the associated challenges are merely one of the many lessons we have chosen, whether it is you personally or you trying to understand the lessons of another.
Fat has a consciousness
Each cell in your body has a consciousness and fat cells are no different. As cells die, new cells reproduce. New cells that reproduce with an affirmative environment have no recognition of the previous negative energy. The new cells repopulate and your consciousness changes exponentially! It takes thirty days to realize this shift and for those of you familiar with the work of Edgar Cayce, it is believed that a physical body is completely new every seven years. Are you a reflection of the past seven years of fat consciousness? Positive thinking and consequently, what I refer to as “affirmative medicine”, is not just a mind consciousness; it is an individual cell consciousness. When you change your language, you change your life.
Fat is Meaningful
My objective is to help you change your perception of self and understand why you are carrying the weight. Weight issues are as much about the energy management. When the energy you take in exceeds the energy you put out, you manifest weight. In reality, being fat is not part of the problem; it is part of the solution. Now, that is a twist, isn’t it? Your fat is a clue to what is holding you back from living your truth, your contract.
Where Do You Carry Your Fear?
Examining where you are carrying your fat is a clear indication of what you are protecting, whether you are protecting energy from leaking out or protecting yourself from others. Legs, hips, and thighs are all about fear of moving forward. A large stomach area reflects issues of self, self-preservation in manifested form. Arms, neck and head regions are issues concerning expressing or receiving love. The throat is often about fear of speaking your truth.
Through the Integrated Health Concepts clinic I offer workshops and talks that help you identify what is blocking you from releasing weight. We address language, affirmations, and the power of motivation. In the next newsletter I will introduce some tips and techniques to get you started on understanding the lessons involved with weight release.
